Carson's Crew Announces Intent For Year Ahead

MASSACHUSETTS – Carson’s Crew, a registered 501c3 with a healthcare oriented mission to bring innovation to patients and their families, is excited to announce their aspirations for the 2022 year. Following another year of the Covid-19 pandemic, individuals across the United States benefited from telemedicine and other technologies. Doing so helped prevent the further spread of Covid-19 and mitigated unnecessary exposure in hospitals and clinics, when appropriate.

Innovation in healthcare is more important now than ever and we are proud of our work expanding Telemedicine access in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Carson’s Crew aspires to bring the same level of commitment it brought to telemedicine to other innovative proposals. Following 20 months of the Covid-19 pandemic, medical professionals have raised concerns about the rapid increase in mental health cases, especially amongst children.

At the beginning of the year, it is crucial we take time to reflect upon our mission and the impact we hope to have in the coming year. Doing so has led Carson Domey, the founder of Carson’s Crew, as well as its other members to recognize that while we continue to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, we need to also acknowledge and work toward solutions to the mental health pandemic that is worsening by the day. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the average delay between the onset of mental illness symptoms and treatment is 11 years.

Data clearly illustrates that we need to educate our youth at a young age how to seek out help in order to put an end to the mental health crisis,
— Carson Domey

Through existing and newly established partnerships, Carson’s Crew seeks to create a national network of young, mental health advocates to create innovative plans and proposals to provide twenty-first century solutions to a problem that many have and continue to face.
